Manager of Information Services.  Assigned duties included the daily maintenance of a 35 node Novel 3.12 network and its workstations including Macintosh computers on an AppleTalk network. Implemented a workstation backup plan using zip drives, installation of McAfee Netshield on the server and Viruscan on all workstations, maintained Norstan Adix phone system. Updated and corrected errors in the process manufacturing software and Platinum database. Obtained initial exposure to Access and SQL. Evaluated four possible replacements for the current process manufacturing software and the financing of new computers with the intention of completing an $80,000.00 system wide upgrade to Windows 95 and Windows NT. My duties included the scheduling of all maintenance for one third of Midways' jet fleet consisting of a total of sixty-nine aircraft. Ensured compliance of Airworthiness Directives, Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins and Fleet Campaign Directives.
